                         St. Thomas the Apostle Parish.  All are welcome.

       15 & 22      --  A DAY FOR THE SOULS IN PURGATORY

Because of the importance of remembering the Holy Souls in Purgatory, we wanted to extend to all the opportunity of a day dedicated to praying for them.  This will be similar to what we offered in our youth camps.  We have planned this for November, the month of All Souls.  The day will involve prayer and penance for the Holy Souls, a chance also to reflect on our own lives, and extended periods of silence. 
We will begin with Holy Mass at 8:00 a.m..  In the morning we will have a long “Way of the Cross” meditation for the Holy Souls.  Later after lunch there will be a reflection on Purgatory and its implication for how we are living our life now.     We will conclude with a Holy Hour ending at 5 p.m., during which the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available.
We invite you to bring or send* us a list of souls for whom you would like us to pray.

20 -- Blessing of Sacramentals (following the 7:00 p.m. Holy Hour)

Bring water, salt, olive oil, candles, and any other religious object that you would like to have blessed.
