10:00 am Conference: First as King of Mercy…

Jesus said to St. Faustina

Before I come as the just Judge, I am coming first as the King of Mercy. Before the day of justice arrives, there will be given to people a sign in the heavens of this sort: All light in the heavens will be extinguished, and there will be great darkness over the whole earth. Then the sign of the cross will be seen in the sky, and from the openings where the hands and the feet of the Savior were nailed will come forth great lights which will light up the earth for a period of time. This will take place shortly before the last day. (Diary of St. Faustina, 83.)

How are we to understand this and other messages of Jesus to St. Faustina? In this talk we will try to comprehend modern and contemporary prophecy from the perspective and in the context of the constant teaching of the Church. To do so we will draw especially from:

  • Sacred Scripture

  • The Magisterium and St. Paul VI

  • Fathers of the Church

  • The examples of holy men and women: St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Bridgett, St. Hildegard, St. Vincent Ferrer, Bl. Elizabeth Mora, St. Hannibal di Francia and Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta, and others.

  • Approved Marian Apparitions such as Fatima, Akita, La Salette, and our Lady of Good Success.

  • More recent events and phenomena such as The Marian Movement of Priests, In Sinu Jesu, and Medjugorje.

11:00am Guided silent meditation and Blessing with a relic of the True Cross

A time of silent prayer guided by Jesus words to St. Faustina.

When you reflect upon what I tell you in the depths of your heart, you profit more than if you had read many books. Oh, if souls would only want to listen to My voice when I am speaking in the depths of their hearts, they would reach the peak of holiness in a short time. (Diary, 584.)
